With a few mod cons (new kitchen and gas fireplace), fresh white walls , and subtle, feminine décor, she had found home.  

This century old house was renovated very gently; it was completely rewired and re-plumbed, but all the rooms, casings, weathered fir floor, and even the windows remained original.
